Vandelli Refuge (1926 m) and Lake Sorapis

The lake is located about a hundred meters from the Refuge and is one of the most beautiful in the Dolomites, particularly known for the turquoise color of its waters. Very popular with tourists in the summer, it is the focus of attention to avoid damage to its ecosystem. A very beautiful trip, recommended during less crowded times.

You can reach it starting from Passo Tre Croci (between Cortina and Misurina) where you will leave your car, then walk along the easiest route, although in some points it is slightly exposed so caution is needed: trail 215. It takes about 2 hours to reach the Refuge.

Also from Passo Tre Croci there is another route (trails 213-216-215) to Forcella Malcuòira, a bit longer than the first, recommended only for expert hikers: breathtaking landscapes.
